About Us

Thomas Raggatt, the Owner of NEG is a Townsville local who honed his electrician trade before heading to south-east Queensland to gain experience in the heavy construction industry.

After working on significant projects in the region, Thomas moved back to Townsville and launched Northern Energy Group in 2021.

Tom leads his team of dedicated electricians who are highly skilled in all facets of the electrical industry. Since the inception of NEG, we have created relationships with multiple national service clients and local builders.

NEG is proud to have been recognised as a small business who are making an impact in the industry, receiving the NECA Small Business Award in 2022. Additionally, we have obtained a range of industry qualifications including an external pre-qualification for Health and Safety Management - Cm3 Certified and ACRS Master Cabler license.
